Ecocapsule is a portable tiny egg-shaped home, complete with all the essentials needed for a comfortable prolonged stay off the grid. Powered by a built-in wind turbine and solar cells, Ecocapsule also has a high-capacity battery to ensure energy in times of low wind or sun, meaning no need for recharging. The dome shape of Ecocapsule’s roof is also optimized for seamless rainwater and dew collection, and a filtration system allows the use of any water source to power the included kitchenette, hot shower, and flush toilet. Ecocapsule’s beautiful modern design allows plenty of room for lounging as well as for storage of any equipment and personal belongings. With ample space for two adults, Ecocapsule’s purpose is entirely flexible: tourists’ hotel room on-the-go, emergency lodging, research station, or humanitarian action unit. Ecocapsule will begin taking pre-orders at the end of 2015 for delivery in the first half of 2016. Happy adventuring!
